What's a bargain?

Now, I know I should have been doing these blogs a little more but I haven't. It's my fault but I'm trying to do better. Even though the week is almost over, here is what I think are some bargains for both CVS and Walgreens.

Walgreens

Dorito's  or Lay's Potato Chips-9.5 to 11.5 oz.-$1.99
Dasani 24 pk. water-$2.99
Kraft Mac. & Cheese-12 or 14 oz.-$1.99
Celebrity Canned Ham-12 oz.-$2.29
Nice Aluminum Foil or Wax Paper- 0.89
Lipton Tea-22 or 100 pk.-26.5 oz.-$2.99
Oscar Mayer Wieners-16 oz.-Buy 1 at $2.99 get 1 free
Colgate Toothpaste-4.6 oz.-0.99
Kellogg's Cereal-8.7 to 13.7 oz.-$1.67

CVS

Scott Toilet Tissue-12-18 pk.-$7.77-limit 3
Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna-5 oz.-0.77
Theater Candy (except Mars)-0.99
Gatorade-32 oz.-$1.00
Ajax-14 oz.-0.89
Cheez It, Keebler Club, Nabisco Cookies etc.-3.8-7 oz.-0.99
Kleenex-Reg. 100ct., w) lotion 70ct. or upright 60ct.-0.99
Pepsi-2 liter or Kickstart 16 oz.-0.99 w) 0.25 off coupon

Now with both places you need to have your CVS ExtraCare Card and your Walgreens Card.
I was able to save some money at CVS because of a couple of things.

1) When you scan your card at the coupon center, you get 0.25 off of a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi/Sierra Mist/Mt. Dew or Kickstart 16 oz.

2) When I scanned my ExtraCare Cards I got $1.00 and $2.50 extrabucks which was good for me because I could use one of the extrabucks instead of actual cash.

3)In your Sunday paper, there was a big 20% off coupon from CVS. You could use that as well, which I did  but its not for sale items. That could be a pain because there are a lot of sale items but if you find something you like not on sale, you could use your 20% off coupon.

Now I used all three things at one visit so I saved a couple of bucks. Its not a lot but every little bit helps.

WWE.Com

I was browsing through the internet and as a lot of you know I love Pro Wrestling. I've loved it since I was a kid and one of the sites I can't stop going to is wwe.com.  Now, before, I really didn't go on wwe.com. I really didn't want to see recaps of Raw and Smackdown because I already would watch Raw and Smackdown. But over the last year or two, I can't stop going to wwe.com. They have some great articles and they have there greatest matches list which a lot of them are in full match form. If you haven't been able to go to wwe.com, I'd suggest you do so immediately. I don't want to sound like a shill but its that good. Here are some examples of what I'm talking about:

http://www.wwe.com/classics/classic-lists/14-superstars-you-didnt-know-appeared-in-wwe
http://www.wwe.com/classics/ecw/17-obscure-ecw-superstars

These are just some of the articles you can read on wwe.com. There's a lot of good memories about my childhood based on those memories. I remember being an 12 yr. old kid and seeing the Hulk Hogan ticker tape parade on WCW Saturday Night. I remember watching the Road Warriors come out to "Iron Maiden" as they just beat the hell out of there opponents in NWA/WCW. And yes, believe or not, I had actually ordered the Great American Bash 1999 when Sting was apparently eaten by two dogs. Hey, I didn't say they were ALL good memories. The very fact that David Arquette became WCW champion and Judy Bagwell became one half of the tag team champions is proof of that.

The thing with these articles that I listed is that I don't remember articles like these on wwe.com 2 or 3 yrs. ago. Obviously, there was Raw and Smackdown recaps but they really have overhauled the site.

Also, one of the best features as well on wwe.com is the classic full length matches. If your a wrestling fan, especially an old school wrestling fan, then your in heaven because they have full length classic matches that you can watch. Some examples are:

http://www.wwe.com/videos/cm-punk-vs-jeff-hardy-world-heavyweight-championship-cage-match-smackdown-august-26053186

http://www.wwe.com/videos/lex-luger-and-ole-anderson-vs-ric-flair-and-tully-blanchard-tag-team-cage-match-26110544

Now, I'll admit you have to search a bit to find these matches but there worth it. Some of them that I linked are some of the great matches and feature some wwe hall of famers and soon to be wwe hall of famers. Its a great feature and pretty much have any match that you want.
WWE.com is "the" site to find information about the past, present and future. And like I said there classic matches feature is something that every wrestling fan should see. Whether its old school matches, or present matches or backstage articles you must check out wwe.com. Its  great for the true wrestling fan.
